Taxes are collected so that political subdivisions are able to provide services to the citizens within.
I’m sure that Liberty County will not branch out its fire, police, trash pick-up and assorted other services to Fort Stewart.
If this is approved by some other non-thinker, the only result will be that the costs will ultimately be passed on to the Fort Stewart soldiers.
As I look around town at the pawn shops, auto parts stores, eateries, car dealers and other targeted retail establishments it appears that Hinesville/Liberty County already makes enough money off of the military.
Give them a break. They certainly give us a break!
