Blue Tide prepares to hold football camp
Two-day event begins July 14 at practice facility

The Long County High School football team will hold a football camp on July 14-16 at the Long County practice pacility at Smiley Elementary School.
The camp will be headed up by Blue Tide varsity head coach Kyle Wilson and will also be conducted by other coaches on the Blue Tide staff, and assisted by several football
players.
Participants will be taught fundamentals of football, focusing on the skills on offense and defense.  
Each camper will have the opportunity for one-on-one instruction with a member of the Blue Tide Coaching staff.
Participants will also receive
a T-shirt and have the opportunity to use what they learn during the camp in a competitive setting.
Another goal is to have fun.
The ages for the camp are
8-13 and the camp will start at
9 a.m. and conclude each day at
3 p.m. The campers are to wear shorts, T-shirt, socks and athletic shoes. It also is recommended that they wear lightcolored fabric and sun-screen.  
An extra T-shirt and change of socks is recommended. Participates may wear cleats if they choose.
Lunches will be provided for
the campers and there will be shaded areas and restrooms avail-able.  Water breaks will be provided, and Gatorade can be purchased
from machines.
The camp costs  $30, due at the time of registration.  Parents can register their child the day the camp starts between 8-8:45 a.m., but pre-registration is also available at the Long County Board of Education offices.
