The Long County Blue Tide beat the Bryan County Redskins in a shootout this past Friday, 41-40.  With the game coming down to the final tick of the buzzer, the Blue Tide defense stopped the Redskins with .1 second left on the clock, as the Skins went for the 2-point conversion.  With the win, Long County is now 2-0.  Full coverage of the game will be in the Wednesday edition of the Coastal Courier.
