The Cedar Grove Saints opened the second overtime on an 8-0 run and held off the Long County Blue Tide for a 94-91 win in the Class AAA boys state basketball quarterfinals Wednesday night.

Christian Glenn led the Blue Tide (20-12) with 29 points, while Jamel Brimlett scored 19 and Cam’Ron Rosa added 12.

E.J. Colson topped the Saints with 29 points. Jaylen Adside added 21 as four Saints finished in double-figure scoring.

Cedar Grove advances to meet Douglass on Friday in the semifinals.
