The Bradwell Institute Lady Tigers bounced back from their first region loss of the year by taking a top-10 matchup Tuesday night.
Taniyah Bowman had 15 points, and Bailey Gilmore posted a double-double as the No. 5-ranked Lady Tigers held off No. 10-ranked Ware County 50-42 at the Liberty County High School gym.
Gilmore had 12 points and 11 rebounds while Parris Parham racked up 14 points, all in the first half, and nine rebounds.
Bradwell led by 14 at the half but the Lady Gators cut the lead to four twice, once on a Trinity Jenkins’ 3-pointer and again on Charlese McClendon’s bucket. But the Lady Gators were forced to foul, and committed six fouls in less than 15 seconds, to put Bradwell in the bonus.

Bradwell improved to 16-3 on the year and 6-1 in Region 1-AAAAA.
