Bradwell boys, girls roll to 3-0 starts

Elyjah Thurmon had 13 points and nine rebounds, and Tahshaun Frasier added 12 points as the Bradwell Tigers rolled to a 59-36 win over the Beach Bulldogs in the Joe Greene Basketball Tournament.

Frasier also had five assists and six steals.

Christopher Perry added nine points, Zay Thomas scored six, Antonio Haynes and Kohlmin Nelson each had three points, Deondre Canady and Elijuwon Hale had two points each and Jamal Jackson scored one point.

Perry and Thurmon also had three blocks apiece.

The Lady Tigers capped their Joe Greene play in style, outscoring the Beach Lady Bulldogs 32-0 in the second quarter en route to a 65-27 romp.

Parris Parham poured in a career-high 31 points on 12-of-24 shooting from the floor.

Ja’Nya Bush added nine points, Jordyn Rogers had eight, Kaydence Kern scored six, Jamia Ousley had four, Janiyah Blevins chipped in three and Alysia Estrada and Talasia Weathersby each had two points.

Parham also pulled down nine rebounds while Bush came up with six steals. Ousley had five assists and Rogers had four.

The Bradwell boys and girls, each 3-0, return to action December 1 at Tattnall County.
