The Bradwell Institute boys posted two big non-region wins last week.
The Tigers avenged a defeat just after Christmas to Camden County by beating the Wildcats 44-38 in Kingsland. Chris Perry led the way with 16 points and Elyjah Thurmon notched another double-double with 12 points and 18 rebounds. Tahshaun Frasier added 10 points in the win.
Kaden Heath paced the Wildcats with 13 points.
Four Tigers finished in double figures in a 73-67 win over Wade Hampton (S.C.) on Friday.
Thurmon posted 16 points and 14 rebounds. Frasier had 15 points and nine assists, Money finished with 13 points, and Perry added 11. Jamel Jackson scored eight points in the win.
The Lady Tigers, ranked No. 4 by Score Atlanta among Class AAAAA teams, outscored Camden 32-7 in the second half en route to a 62-25 rout January 3 in Kingsland.
Parris Parham, who was 9-of-12 from the field, poured in 21 points. Taniyah Bowman recorded 16 points and five steals, and Ja’Nya Bush had eight points, 12 rebounds, eight assists and five steals. Bailey Gilmore added eight points and 11 rebounds.
Bradwell, which played host to Jenkins on January 10, will host Coffee on Friday night.
