Celebrity basketball game to feature former Globetrotters

The Liberty County School System has announced a basketball game with former Harlem Globetrotter players against local celebrity from our community. 

The Harlem Legends vs. Liberty County All Stars Celebrity Basketball Show is scheduled for Nov. 13, 2021, at the Bradwell Institute Gym. 

The Liberty County All-Stars will be comprised of local educators, law enforcement officers, politicians, firefighters, coaches, and business and community leaders. 

The Harlem Legends are a group of professional athletes and includes Michael “Memphis” Douglas, Larry “Shorty” Coleman, Tyrone “Hollywood” Brown, Try Moore, DJ Henley, Marcus Johnson, and Tyrone Randolph. 

The game will be announced by Mike Glenn and refereed by Jimmy Bolden. 

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Bradwell Institute basketball program. 

However, admission is limited, tickets should be purchased early.
