HINESVILLE -- Just a week after it was announced that Bradwell Institute Tigers’ defensive end Mikah Kent made First Team All-Region 2-6A, the senior decided to take to Twitter to keep his name trending.
On Dec. 10, Kent announced his commitment to continue his education and football career at Davidson College in North Carolina in a tweet saying:
#AGTG After speaking with @Scott_AbellFB, @coachjberlin, and my family, I am happy to announce my commitment to Davidson College. #WE @DavidsonFB @BITIGERFOOTBAL1
Davidson was his first offer ahead of his senior season in July.
Division III’s Iowa Wesleyan also offered Kent in September.
In his senior year, he tallied 30 tackles, five tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, two sacks, and two fumble recoveries over nine games.
Kent also has a 4.25 grade point average.
He will officially sign his letter of intent in February on national signing day.
