LAS CRUCES, N.M. – In an agreement between the New Mexico State and Georgia Southern Athletic Departments, Saturday’s Sun Belt Conference Football game between the two schools will be aired on SportSouth. Kickoff for the game at Aggie Memorial Stadium in Las Cruces, N.M., is set for 8 p.m. Eastern Time.

The two teams, both new to the league this season and both undefeated in conference play, meet for the first time in history. This is the longest road trip Georgia Southern will make this season with fans preparing for this weekend’s watch parties throughout the southeast.

“Georgia Southern fans proudly support their athletic teams and many will make the trip to see their Eagle Football team play at New Mexico State,” said Director of Athletics Tom Kleinlein. “For those who are not able to travel that distance this weekend, having the game televised on SportSouth allows them to watch our game and cheer on Coach Fritz and our student-athletes.”

New Mexico State will produce the game through AggieVision, its video production group that broadcasts Aggie events on a syndicated regional network. The game, in addition to being available on SportSouth, can be viewed on Fox Sports Arizona Plus and Fox Sports Oklahoma.

DirecTV offers both high definition and standard definition viewing of SportSouth on channel 649. Dish Network will have the game on channel 437 for high definition and standard definition broadcasts. Fans can check local listings for the SportSouth channel on their local cable networks.
