The First Preparatory Christian Academy Highlanders are back on the road Friday morning.

The Highlanders are headed to Columbus State University’s Lumpkin Center to face rival Citizens Christian in the GIAA Class A boys state basketball championship game. Tipoff is set for 4:45 p.m. Friday.

FPCA earned its spot in the title game with a 72-45 rout of Robert Toombs Christian Academy on Wednesday evening. CCA downed Thomas Jefferson Academy 64-50.

FPCA and CCA have met three times this season, the most recent coming in the region championship game. The Highlanders won the first two games but the Patriots won by one point in overtime in the region title game.
