First Presbyterian Christian Academy continues its tough road schedule Friday in Bellville against Pinewood Christian Academy.

The Patriots (4-0) are last year’s state runners-up in Class AAA of the Georgia Independent School Association. Their offense, led by quarterback Jeffrey Young, has completed 28-of-44 passes for 436 yards and five touchdowns.

Preston Campbell, their leading rusher last season, leads the ground game again this year with 399 yards and eight touchdowns on 63 carries.
Last year, FPCA suffered a 54-12 loss to the Patriots.

The Highlanders (0-3) need a strong offensive start to gain the momentum at Pinewood. Last year, the Highlanders trailed 40-0 at the half. Quarterback Dylan Stewart threw and ran for a touchdown.

Stewart will need to have another strong game and find Josh Armour, Isiah Dickey or Jimmy Ouyang open for passes this week.

The FPCA defense will need to focus on Campbell and anticipate the majority of the ground game will come from him.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
