FPCA, Liberty earn huge wins

Panther running back Jacquez Williams, was back in action and moving the ball forward for Liberty County in their 12-3 win at home against Wayne County Friday.

Friday night football played out with two local teams winning and one falling in region action.

First Presbyterian Christian Academy managed to repeat their win against Crisp Academylike they did last year. This time however they did so in dramatic fashion earning a 40-6 win in Cordele.

Liberty County High School opened Region 3-AAAA action hosting Wayne Countyat Donell Woods. The showdown was close but Liberty capitalized on an early Yellow Jacket fumble to go up 6-0 and eventually take the win 12-3.

Bradwell Institute hosted Ware County in Region 3-AAAAA action. But the Gators proved to be the strong opponent the Tigers expected wining 44-7 at Olvey Field.
