Highlanders bounce back with win over RTCA

Jaiden Thomas had 27 points and Jeremiah Moore added 22 as the First Preparatory Christian Academy Highlanders beat Robert Toombs Christian Academy 84-72 Tuesday.

Brandon Betton had 18 points and Jordan Ortiz added 12 for FPCA (8-8, 5-1 GIAA 6A).

CFCA downed the Highlanders 89-58 on February 3. Ortiz paced FPCA with 18 points. Betton scored 13, Logan Brown added 11 points, Cameron Barnett scored seven, Thomas had five points and Evan North and Jace Reid had two points each.

Brayden Emory had a game-high 20 points for CFCA. Tanyon Stella scored 16, Trey Bradley added 15 points and Judson Walls chipped in 14 points. CFCA was 35 of 66 from the field.

FPCA visits Bethesda on Thursday at 7 p.m.
