Highlanders defeat Memorial Day to go 15-0

"We are just taking care of business," First Presbyterian Highlander head coach Darrell West said.

The business is another win on Monday against Memorial Day in Savannah. The Highlanders boys improve to 15-0 and 6-0 in the GISA 2-A Region as they defeated Memorial Day, 71-68 in a rare close game.

Joey Bell, AJ Ansley and Hakeem Golden each scored in double digits, getting 28, 19 and 12 points, respectively. Terrence "TA" Alston chipped in another 9.

David Linderman’s JV squad took care of business as well as the JV Highlanders won 40-37. They beat a tough Memorial team that consisted of all high school players in the 9th, 10th and 11th grade.
