First Presbyterian Christian Academy hosted David Emanuel Academy last Thursday and played at Citizens Christian Academy this past Tuesday but dropped both games with losses.
Last Thursday the visiting Eagles showed why they are the region threat this season by giving the Highlanders a tough challenge.
FPCA stayed toe-to-toe with the Eagles but DEA edged out the extra runs needed to win 8-5.
In Tuesday’s game against at the Patriots home field in Douglas, FPCA was once again edged out by a run losing 3-2.
Highlander Jarred Wells pitched a complete game, according to head coach Ryan Harmon.
As of Thursday the Highlanders are 3-5 overall and 2-2 in Region 2-AA. The Highlanders are scheduled to play at Memorial Day Friday at 4:30 p.m.
