Liberty County had its annual softball banquet last week to honor the players, coaching staff and volunteers who made the 2016 season possible.
The Lady Panthers finished the year 7-12 overall and 2-8 in Region 2-AAA.
Players, who received awards and recognition, are:

Coaches Awards — Madison Winn, Navia Telfair, Kiara Edwards, and Carmae Gumataotao
Key Player Award — Meleina Davis
Golden Glove — De’Anna Gumataotao
Slugger Award — Candice Blitch
MVP — Kaleigh Fisher
Academic Athlete — Fisher
All Region 2-AAA First Team — Fisher
All Region 2-AAA Second Team — Davis
