Today we feature the Liberty County Recreation Department's mite league baseball and softball champions and second place winners.
It was a battle of the industries as the team representing Georgia Power faced the group from Interstate Paper. It took two games against each other before Georgia power emerged victorious with 13-9 and 4-1 wins for the first place spot.
In softball Sanitary Plumbing edged out a first place win after defeating Coastal Communications 15-2. It was a tough loss for Coastal, who defeated Sanitary Plumbing in game one 5-3.
