LCRD seeking qualified photographers for team photos

The Liberty County Recreation Department is requesting that qualified photographers provide proposals to do team pictures for each of the sports programs conducted over the course of one year. The contract period is March 2018 through February 2019 with the option to extend the contract period two additional years if both parties agree.

The general time frame for pictures is as follows:  Spring soccer- March; volleyball- March; track and field- March; baseball and softball- April; football and cheerleading- September; Fall soccer- September; and basketball- January.  A minimum of two photographers are needed and appropriate staff to assist in the photo sessions. Contractor must conduct collection of orders and payments. Total numbers of teams and individuals are available upon request.

Desired package options should include but not be limited to the following:  8- by10-inch Memory Mates (which include the individual player photo and the team Photo) , 8- by 10-inch and 5- by 7-inch team photos, trading cards, flag pennants, photo magnets, photo buttons, photo calendars, wall posters, magazine covers, and CDs.  Samples of pictures must be provided with the Proposal.

Pictures will be scheduled by the Recreation Department, normally just prior to team’s games, and must be delivered to the Recreation Department within 15 working days from the date when pictures are taken. 

A percentage of revenue from team pictures be paid to the Recreation Department. Please include the proposed percentage in the Proposal.

Proposals should be addressed to Jimmy Martin, Liberty County Recreation Department, 607 East Oglethorpe Highway, Hinesville, Georgia 31313 and should be marked on the outside of the envelope “Proposal for Team Pictures.” Proposals should be received no later than 2 p.m. Feb. 8. The proposals will be reviewed by the recreation department director who will then recommend award of a contract to the Liberty County Recreation Board at the board’s Feb. 12 meeting.
