Let’s just watch Gators, Dogs roll
Armchair Willie

After last week, If we can get a few more games in it will feel more like an SEC football weekend.

Right now the biggest problem the SEC and other teams around the country are having is strictly from contact tracing, not actually Covid-19. Teams are shutting down with only a few positive tests being reported. Somehow we have to get a grip on this thing.

Let’s get to the field!

FLORIDA AT VANDERBILT: The Gators ran through a pretty good Arkansas team this past week scoring 63 points. It stands to reason the Gators should have no problem with Vandy.

There could be a letdown, but the Gators are pushing Kyle Trask for the Heisman and they will be wanting to get him all the stats he can get.

Look for the Gators to score early and often.

LSU AT ARKANSAS: The Hogs got blasted by Floirda and LSU hid in Baton Rouge from Alabama to avoid a beating.

Last year the Tigers were favored by 45 points and this year the Hogs are favored by 2. What happened?

LSU lost their entire team and the coaching staff didn’t really have the cupboard stocked. I wouldn’t be surprised if Arkansas wins this one.

KENTUCKY AT ALABAMA: The Cats play very good defense, but they also haven’t seen an offense like the Tide has.

Alabama will pick up right where they left off after having a couple of weeks off and should be getting ready for the Iron Bowl next week with a big offensive show.

TENNESSEE AT AUBURN: This might be a good game and it could be a blowout, it just depends on which Tennessee or Auburn that shows up.

If both teams look like they have for the majority of the season it will be a snooze fest, but if it’s the Auburn team that beat LSU or the Tennessee team that played Missouri, then we may have a good game.

I don’t think either team is that good, but one of them has to win.

I think the Vols may be ready for an upset, they just have to avoid having a screwy call go against them which seems to always happen when you play in Auburn.

MISSOURI AT SOUTH CAROLINA: Missouri goes into South Carolina’s back yard this week and the Gamecocks will have a new coach after Will Muschamp was fired last week.

Don’t think that will help the Gamecocks because Missouri has been one of the surprises this year in the SEC. One program is going up and one just fired their head coach.

You can see where I’m going.

GAME OF THE WEEK

MISSISSIPPI ST. AT GEORGIA:

Georgia is coming off a bye last week and the Mississippi version of Bullodgs are doing the same.

Georgia is beat up pretty bad but it probably won’t make any difference with the outcome of this game because Mississippi State is really awful.

Not sure how much Georgia will be fired up since they are out of the SEC East race, but I think talent alone will be enough for them to win this game without much of a struggle. Georgia may have to play another quarterback, but did I mention that Mississippi State was awful?

Georgia wins this one pretty easy.
