Liberty County High School beat Appling County High School 35-14 in a Region 2-AAA matchup Friday at Donell Woods Stadium.

The win improves the Panthers to 2-0 in the region and 4-3 overall.  

The Pirates fall to 1-4 overall and 1-1 in the region.

Also Friday, Bradwell Institute (6-2, 0-2) fell 56-28 to unbeaten Richmond Hill (6-0, 1-0) in a 2-AAAAAA contest at Hokey Jackson Stadium. 

And, winless Long County lost 34-0 to Pierce County on the Blue Tide's Homecoming night in Ludowici.

The Tide are 0-7 overall and 0-2 in Region 2-AAA.
