Christian Ruff, of Hinesville, helped his team to the National Junior College Athletic Association Region X, Division III Baseball Championship last weekend in Danville, Va.

He plays baseball at Rockingham Community College where his team took the NJCAA Division III, Region X title. Leading up to the championship, his team beat Danville Community College 14-6 and then knocked down the Surry Knights 14-9. Sunday, they beat No. 1 seed Surry again, 12-11.  

Ruff is Rockingham’s catcher and was awarded the All Region Defense and All Region second team for his position.
