Area educator Marcus Scott IV, a former student and employee of the Liberty County School System, will host a talk radio show from 6-6:45 p.m. Wednesdays on WGML 990 AM.
Scott, who is an assistant principal at Jenkins High School in the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System, said the purpose of the show is to educate, inform and update the community about public education. The program, titled The Educational Hotline, will include open dialog, weekly topics, featured school of the week, staff member presentations, announcements and upcoming events, special guests and a call-in segment for questions and comments, he said.
Scott is also the president/founder of Scott’s All*Stars, a program that provides academic assistance, requires community services, teaches basketball skills and drug prevention, and mentors young men.
“It is my sincere prayer that this show will help inform and educate our community regarding all aspects of the Liberty County Public School System,” Scott said.
