Bradwell’s diamond Tigers continue to cut through opponents and shine in Region 3-AAAAA after blanking the Windsor Forest Knights 10-0 in Savannah Friday evening. The win brings BI’s region mark to 3-0.

Tigers coach Rhett Hellgren said the game went all seven innings, noting his team played well defensively and was steady and balanced offensively.

Tiger Jacob Dill started the game and eventually earned the win after pitching five innings.

Hellgren said Dill struggled at first, but soon settled down and found the zone.

In the fifth inning Mitch Rogers was brought in as relief for the last two innings, impressing the coach, who said, "Mitch looked really good out there. I’m thinking of giving him a start because he deserves one."

Tiger Leonard Felton was 2 of 5 and Eric Wells went 2 of 4 to lead the Tigers’ hitters.

Overall the Tigers are 3-2 and will face neighboring rival Long County on Monday at 5 p.m.

The coach said the team will face several tough region opponents in the next two weeks, starting with Camden County Friday and Jenkins on March 22.

Although pleased with the team’s progress, Hellgren said they are still fitting together all the pieces of the puzzle to form a complete game.

"When we put it together we are going to be OK," he said. "Once that happens we are going to be powerful."
