Chapman wins AAAAA crown in long jump

Bradwell Institute track and field standout Quintunya Chapman soared to a first-place finish in the long jump on Saturday.
Chapman cleared 18 feet, 11 1⁄4 inches to win the Class AAAAA title.
Earlier, Chapman, a University of Georgia signee, cleared 19-1 ¼ during the Region 3-AAAAA finals.
Bradwell’s  Sherina Hornsby finished 16th in the 1,600-meter run Friday with a time of 5 minutes, 52.1 seconds.
