The Coastal Xplosion All-Stars recently competed in the U.S. Spirit National All-Star Cheerleading Championship in Orlando, Fla. The team, which trains in Jesup but has members from all over the area, finished fourth.

"Coastal Xplosion brought home a fourth-place trophy, but more importantly to them, they experienced a high level of competitive skill that brought a great desire in them to continue to improve on their skills," coach Sammi Hester said.

The event took place March 25-26 at Universal Studios and included teams from all over the world.

The team also competed in Jamfest in February in Jacksonville and finished third.

Members of the team include Catie Bakken, Anna Hester, Madison Murphy, Alexis Wilson, Taylor Dubberly, Emma Bakken, Hannah Osteen, Ken Chadwick, Allie Davis, Katie Hatten, Taylor Knox, Paislee Parish, Lauren Hinson, Amber Holland, Hannah Anderson, Sam Holt, Kyler Flowers, Jared Hagewood, Jody Pitts, Brionna Anderson, Heather Richmond, Marli Anderson, Tyanna Lucero, Nina Tootle, Rachel Hatten and David Anderson.
