Crusaders get revenge

Earlier this season when Faith Baptist Christian Academy played The Rock School of Gainesville, Fla., the Ludowici squad lost, 64-54, in a heated battle.
But FBCA got a chance for revenge and beat The Rock School, 66-62, in a rematch Friday in Ludowici.
The Rock School, ranked No. 38 in Florida, powered into the first quarter and quickly took a 14-3 lead. FBCA’s JJ Frazier pumped in 14 of his 24 points in the first half to chip away at the lead.
In the second half, FBCA’s Jaquez Motley hit three back-to-back trey shots en route to 23 second-half points.
FBCA chipped away at a 19-point deficit in the fourth quarter. With 40 seconds left in regulation, the Crusaders trailed by two.
Motley sealed the win for FBCA by drawing a foul and hitting the net from the line.
FBCA’s Shavon Stoves chipped in 16 points, and Ebuka Ezeanaka had two assists, four blocked shots, two steals and five rebounds.
Faith Baptist Christian Academy, ranked No. 27 in Georgia, is 22-5 overall.
