For the second year in a row, the Frederica Knights captured the Georgia Independent School Association Class AA state boys’ soccer title at First Presbyterian Christian Academy’s expense.
The Knights won, 2-1, in Saturday’s championship on St. Simons Island.
FPCA head coach Tom Sukaratana is losing 11 senior players, including his son Clark Sukaratana. He, Tyler Causer, Ricky Gilliard and Domonique Kirkley all signed to play soccer at Point University. Graduating senior Stanford Graham will play at Middle Georgia State.
The coach will meet with the GISA Class AA representatives this week for All-Region selections.
