STATESBORO — Georgia Southern has five upcoming football camps and will also have a free camp for children of active-duty military members on Fort Stewart.
The Eagles will offer two camps on the Georgia Southern campus starting June 25 with the Option U Lineman camp. Designed mainly for offensive linemen, the two-day camp is open to all rising ninth through 12th graders. A skills camp will follow on June 27 and will be a two-day program to teach the option offense.
GSU’s coaches also will run two camps near Atlanta. The first camp is set for June 23 at Mill Creek High School in Gwinnett. The second will be held June 29 at Lovejoy High School. Both camps are open to rising 11th and 12th graders.
The Fort Stewart camp will be held July 1 and is open to all sons or daughters of active-duty servicemen or women in grades 1-8.
