Eight teams participated in the sixth annual Relay for Life softball tournament April 23 in Ludowici.
Taking home first place in the men’s tournament was KMA, while the runner-up was Coastal Pawn. In the women’s competition, Wildlife Critters finished first and Sara Long Smith took second.
Tournament organizer Beverly Johnson said the event raised more than $1,200 for Long County Relay For Life. 
 “We would like to thank all of the teams that came out to help us raise money so we can knock the cover off of cancer,” Johnson said.
The tournament was held at the Long County Recreation Complex.
