Former NBA player Christian Laettner will be one of the speakers at a “Spring for Success” seminar at 6 p.m. April 14 at Liberty County High School.
Laettner is a two-time NCAA champion at Duke University, played 13 seasons in the NBA and was a member of the 1992 Olympic gold-medal winning Dream Team men’s basketball squad. He and a representative from Student World Athlete, a college scouting and recruiting service, will address parents and students on how colleges and universities recruit athletes. The event is free.
