Liberty County High School is 4-0 after shutting down the Cross Creek Razorbacks, 49-0, Friday night in Augusta
Liberty County linebacker/running back Raekwon McMillan dominated the first half, racking up 15 tackles, including two for losses, forcing a fumble, recording four sacks and rushing for a touchdown.
Freshman Richard LeCounte showed why he has received offers from Ohio State, Florida and Akron. He had three touchdowns, one on a 37-yard reception, another on a 45-yard fumble return and another on a 53-yard interception return.
Jacquez Williams had 162 total yards and a 1-yard touchdown run, and Panther fullback Jacari Roberts had a 2-yard touchdown run.
Panther quarterback Jordan Waters connected with Freddie McSwain for a 20-yard touchdown pass.
As a team, the Panthers had 308 total yards of offense, most of which was compiled in the first 2 ½ quarters before the junior-varsity players took over.
The Panthers will be home again next Friday when they play Hephzibah at 7:30 p.m.
