The Long County High School boys’ basketball team lost its second game in a row Friday, falling to Vidalia High School, 76-65.
The defeat dropped the Blue Tide’s overall record to 2-4 and their 2-AA Region mark to 0-1.
The Indians remained undefeated at 5-0 overall and improved their region record to 2-0.
On Saturday, Long County traveled to Baxley to take on Appling County, which stood at 2-1 overall and 1-1 in the region. Results for that game were not available by press time.
On Tuesday, Jeff Davis High School will come to town for important 2-AA games against the Long County boys’ and girls’ teams.
The girls will take on Jeff Davis at 6 p.m., and the boys’ game starts at 7:30 p.m. Both games are in Ludowici.
The Long County girls’ team also played Friday and Saturday, but game information was not available by press time.
