Long County High School will have homecoming festivities this weekend.
Friday, during the Blue Tide vs. Jeff Davis halftime, the homecoming court will be announced.
Vying for the queen are seniors Vannessa Blake, Shelby Kuzlik, Cheyenne McGowan, Jeanette Palmer and Taylor Rogers. In addition to the queen coronation, each class will crown a princess. The juniors vying are Alyssa Anderson, Charity Carter and Alicia Isenegger; sophomores are Hannah Gordon, Adrienne Hall and Stephanie Salas; and the freshmen are Lillian Belue, Ashley Cabica, and Victoria Johnston.
For a first time, representing the LCHS pre-K class are Hannah Schlichenmeyer and Jeffery Bacon.
There will be a homecoming parade and community-wide pep rally on Thursday. The parade begins at 6 p.m. Line-up starts at 5 at Long County Middle School. The parade wraps up at Veterans Field with the pep rally following.
The football game starts are 7:30 p.m. Friday.
