The Liberty County High School and Bradwell Institute softball teams are in Glennville today and Saturday to compete in the Tattnall County Warriors Blast.
The Lady Panthers are 0-1 after losing, 9-4, Monday to Long County High School. Today, the Lady Panthers will play Portal at 4 p.m. and Bacon County at 6 p.m. On Saturday, the Lady Panthers take the field at 10 a.m. against Metter, at
2 p.m. against Wheeler and at
4 p.m. against Jenkins County.
Bradwell plays at 6 p.m. today against Wheeler and
8 p.m. against New Hampstead. On Saturday, the Lady Tigers will face Appling County at
10 a.m., Southeast Bulloch at
2 p.m. and Portal at 6 p.m.
The final scores and stats from today’s games were not available by press time but will be featured in the Sunday and Wednesday editions of the Courier.
Long County’s Lady Tide had two away games this week at St. Vincent’s Academy and Claxton and were scheduled to play home Thursday against Vidalia. Results will be in Sunday’s Coastal Courier.
