Car-wash fundraiser set

The South Georgia Kings will have a car wash from
9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the Hinesville Applebee’s.
Donations will be accepted.
Former South Georgia King and Liberty County High School player Rion Brown, who currently plays for the University of Miami, will be at the event.

Lady Tiger softball conditioning planned
The Bradwell Lady Tiger’s Softball team will have summer conditioning from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 9-11 a.m. Saturdays at Lady Tiger’s Softball Field.
Girls entering grades 8-12 are welcome to attend. Participants must have a current sports physical and need to bring softball equipment, tennis shoes and a water bottle.
Tryouts will be at 5 p.m. Aug. 1 at the softball field.

Softball in the ’Ville co-ed tourney set
The inaugural Softball in the ’Ville co-ed softball tournament will be Saturday and Sunday beginning at 9 a.m. at James Brown Park, 800 Tupelo Trail in Hinesville.
The tournament is open to 16 teams. Each must have at least five females on the field at all times. Registration is $150 per team.
