Fun-shoot fundraiser set

The inaugural “Shoot to Kill Cancer” sporting-clays fun shoot will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at the Dorchester Shooting Preserve, 2640 Sunbury Road in Midway. The event will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Light the Night Walk. Registration closed Aug. 30. A limited number of sponsorships are available. Tiger Touchdown Club

The Tiger Touchdown Club meets every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Bradwell Institute cafeteria. All current members and those wishing to join the club are encouraged to attend.

Baseball travel team tryouts set

The Marauders Travel Baseball team has a few openings to fill on each Team. Team Ages 11/12, 13/14 and 15/16 will hold tryouts at noon Saturday, Sept. 28, on Cohen Field at the Liberty County Recreation Department. For more information, call Bryon Lairamore at 912-321-9698 

Saturday Morning Youth Bowling

The Fort Stewart Youth Bowling will register bowlers, ages 3-18 (21 if enrolled in college) from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at Marne Lanes on Fort Stewart. League play starts at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 28. For more information, call Jeff Eastlake at 369-8384 or 977-2015, or Marne Lanes at 767-4866.
