Tiger Touchdown Club golf tourney is Saturday
The second annual Tiger Touchdown Club Golf Tournament is Saturday at the Cherokee Rose Country Club in Hinesville.
The tournament, sponsored by the Tiger Touchdown Club and Hinesville Ford, benefits the 2014 Bradwell Institute football team.
The fee is $50 per person and $200 for a four-person team.
Registration starts at
1 p.m. Shotgun start is at
1:30 p.m. Hole sponsorships are available for $100. Prizes will be awarded for first through fourth places.
Golfers can win a car with a hole-in-one. Registration available on-site.
Checks should be made payable to Tiger Touchdown Club.

Speed training set
Slots are open for the Liberty County Recreation Department’s speed-training program, which takes place from 7-8 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday in June and July at the Shuman Recreation Center.
The camp is open to people ages 16 and older.
