Tennis social planned
There will be a tennis social Saturday at James Brown Park.
It is open to high-school age players and older and is free. All participants must bring their own racquet and a can of tennis balls. Water will be provided. Scott’s All*Stars to scrimmage on Saturday
The Scott’s All*Stars will have an inter-squad scrimmage at 3 p.m. Saturday at the YMCA. The event is free and open to the public. At 3 p.m., the fifth-grade team will scrimmage the sixth- and seventh-grade teams. At 4 p.m., the eighth-grade team will scrimmage the ninth-grade team.

Future Prep Starz
Tip-Off Classic set
The Future Prep Starz is accepting team registration for the Tip-Off Classic tournament set for March 21-23 in Hinesville.
The tournament is open to boys’ and girls’ AAU-sanctioned teams from fourth through 11th grades. The entry fee is $225; entry deadline is March 14. The tournament will offer a three-game minimum and bracket play will follow pool play. The tournament will run under current AAU basketball rules. First- and second-place teams will receive trophies.
