A handful of local high school football players are expected to sign with FBS schools today, including Liberty County High School running back Shadrach Thornton, who  is expected to ink with North Carolina State.
Thornton’s teammate, defensive end Melvin King, is scheduled to sign with Georgia State University.
At Bradwell Institute, various Internet reports have Chester Brown signing with the University of Central Florida after an immigration policy ended his career at the University of Georgia before it even began.
