Long County High School honored its senior cheerleaders, along with band members and the football players.

Lydia Kunkle was escorted by her parents, Shannon and Gregg Kunkle. She has been on the cheerleading squad for two years. After graduation she plans to attend college in hopes of becoming a psychologist. Her advice to future cheerleaders is to always smile, remember family, and have fun.

Taryn Lykes was escorted by her parents, Elias Lykes and Terrell Richardson-Smith. She has been on the squad for three years. She is also a member of HOSA and Beta Club. She hopes to earn a master’s in biology, attend medical school, and become an anesthesiologist. Her advice for future cheerleaders is to do what coach tells them the first time, and to know that with God all things are possible.

Courtney McNeal was escorted by her mother, Lynn McNeal. She has been a cheerleader for three years. She is also on the soccer team. Her advice is to not worry about what others have to say about you, just worry about making yourself better.
