The Miami Dolphins have listed former Liberty County High School and Ohio State football player Raekwon McMillan as a starter, according to the depth chart posted Monday on the team’s website.
According to news reports, McMillan has been impressing the Fins coaching staff throughout training camp. The rookie has also been wearing the talking headset and calling plays out on the field. McMillan had been competing for the starting middle linebacker spot against Mike Hull after veteran Koa Misi was placed on injured reserves.
Tuesday, McMillan told Sun Sentinel reporters that things are finally slowing down for him and that he has a better understanding of the plays and defense.
