Former Liberty County football player Raekwon McMillan has made the Athlon Sports All-America Team for the 2016 preseason, according to a report posted on Rivals’ Ohio State site.

McMillan was selected to the first team as a linebacker.

Athlon reported that the junior Buckeye has an opportunity to go into the NFL Draft early if he has another stellar year at Ohio State. It reported that several NFL teams would be willing to snatch up McMillan possibly within the first round.

According to the Scarlet and Game, McMillan will be the defensive anchor of the Buckeyes this season and has already been named defensive captain.

It also reports that barring injury, this will likely be his last season at OSU as McMillan tops most NFL teams’ watch list for his position.
