The Retro Run Saturday through J.F. Gregory Park starts at 4:30 p.m.
It is hosted by Endurance Race Services of Savannah, in partnership with a band of “experienced” runners who know something about the 1970s ‘80s and ‘90s.
Bring out the coolest period clothing, hair and bling for this race. Finish with serious food spread and retro karaoke at around 5:30.
Finisher medals are given to all, prizes for overall winners and masters, as well as prizes for the best retro look and “best” karaoke performance.
You can pick up packets 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday at Game Changers Running Co. or 3-4:15 p.m. Saturday at the park.
A Kids 1 Mile Fun Run, timed with finisher medals, starts at 4.
Registration for the 5k (10 and older) costs $35 until race day and $40 on race day. It includes finisher medal and T-shirt. The kids 1 mile costs $10 until race day and $20 on race day. It also includes finisher medal (register your child for either the 1 mile or the 5k, not both. They may run both, but collect only one medal per child)

Common questions:
1. Walkers and strollers are welcome, there is a section that is rocky but doable with a stroller
2. No age restriction, but we will allow 9 and under to run for $10 or $20 race day and receive a finisher medal
3. No time restriction
4. You do not have to sing karaoke
5. Awards for overall winners, masters and finisher medal for everyone.
6. Timing provided by ERS Savannah
