Dwayne Rye had a clean sweep this past week by winning or sharing low medalist honors at the Jake Blitz. Rye had the best round of the week with a 7-under 64 on Wednesday and then had rounds of 73, 68 and 72. Bradley Abbgy shared the Sunday honors with Rye with a 68.

Points winners for the week were Rye at +7, Jake Umholtz +11 after shooting his age with a 76. Abbgy +13 and Jim Rowe +9 for the other points wins.

Cherokee Rose also holds a four-person scramble every Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. Players are invited to show up by 12:30 and will be paired with other participants for the 18-hole scramble.

The Cherokee Rose Country Club Jake Blitz is held every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.  Sign up times end at 8:30 am on Wednesday and Saturday with start time at 9:00 am.
