Seven Lady Tigers compete in state track today, tomorrow

Seven Lady Tigers are at Hugh Mills Stadium in Albany today and tomorrow to compete in the Georgia High School Association’s girls state meet.

Camille Jackson, Quintunya Chapman, Shonteria Williams, KeAndre Ladson, Kissimmee Herring, Kwajelin Holsendolph and Sherina Hornsby are competing this weekend.

Chapman’s main race will be the 400-meter, which she qualified for by posting a time of 56.57. She said that’s her signature race and she’s trying to better her 56-second mark.
