Scott’s All*Stars participated in Battle of the Best Part 2 on July 8-10 in front of college coaches in Aiken, South Carolina.

Scott’s All*Stars finished second against 16U teams from across the nation.
“Even though we were short-handed due to injuries and prior arrangements, we still managed to fight and our team was determined to win every game,” team founder Marcus Scott said. “We started all three games with five players and during the last six-minute mark of all three games, Malik

Allen fouled out and we were forced to play with four players.”
The All*Stars first beat Game Speed Nation out of Tallahassee 52-50 in overtime. In the second game, Scott’s All*Stars won 54-53 over D3 Moam Elite out of Miami, Florida.

“Once again, Malik Allen fouled out and Marcus Scott and Jaylen Jackson put in huge four quarter performance for the victory,” the coach said.
The All*Stars faltered in the championship game.

“Against a very talented and well-coach Team United Elite out of Charlotte, we were unable to sustain a victory with four players,” Scott said. “The team had a great game plan and put a lot of focus on shutting Marcus Scott down with a box and one. While Jaylen Jackson stepped up, we needed a few more players to be more productive.”
