Taekwondo team earns 10 medals and 8 trophies

Sport Taekwondo Center associates won 10 medals and 8 trophies at a National Open Martial Arts Championships on March 8 in Rome.
The team had been training since the beginning of the year for this event.
Team head coach Rafael Medina said. “Competition is getting harder but we stood our ground.
Coaches Edmond Conyers and Luis Gaybort are also proud of the athletes. They knew more than 400 athletes would be there to compete.
The team is gearing up for the 2008 Georgia Games this month
Among the winners were:   
Armando R. Toledo, 1st place in sparring and 1st place in form competitions.  
Jasun Watts, 2nd place in sparring, 2nd place in forms, 1st place in board breaking.  
Jah-shua Watts, 1st place in sparring, 2nd place in forms, 3rd place in board breaking.  
Latonya Jones, 1st place in sparring, 3rd place in forms.
Mychael Conyers, 2nd place in sparring, 3rd place in forms.   
Austin Ray, 3rd place in sparring, 2nd place in forms.    
Alec Sutton, 3rd place in sparring, 2nd place in forms.
Tyler Arnold, 3rd place in sparring, 3rd place in forms.
