It was another good year for the Long County Blue Tide soccer teams as both teams made the state playoffs with the boys finishing second in the region and the girls fielding a young base to build on next season.

The teams were rewarded for their hard work this season as four girls and six boys were placed on the Region 1-AAA all-region teams. For the girls, they had one named Region 1-AAA Player of the Year as sophomore Kyleigh Sizemore took home that honor.

Sizemore joins freshman Yazmin Coronel-Garcia on the first team. Senior Vilma Santos and freshman Kaiden Boshers were named to the second team.

For the boys, they also had a big individual honor as senior Orlando Tellez-Baltazar was named region Defensive Player of the Year. He made the first team along with fellow seniors Gael Franco Chase Giron.

On the second team were seniors Carson Futch and David Flores as well as junior Chris Ortega.

Several were also named to the honorable mention list with five for the girls and three for the boys. Leora Hyde, Yuridia Sellers, Ava McNeel, Leila Rosas and Sara Barnes made it for the girls and Salomon Medina, Alex Morales, and Kamdyn Gramsch-Milliken made it for the boys.
