Former Georgia Southern football players Edwin Jackson and Garrett Frye signed undrafted free-agent contracts with NFL clubs over the weekend.
Jackson will begin his professional career in Arizona, while Frye signed with Kansas City.
Jackson was the team’s leading tackler for the second-straight year last season. He played in 48 career games for the Eagles and tallied 218 tackles.
A first-team All-Sun Belt selection, Frye was also named second-team Capital One Academic All-America. He started 37 straight games from 2012-14.
